Assignment 1
GangCulture takes pictures of daily items and things we see and puts them in a whole new perspective with cool camera effects at times and perfect placement. They always have a really unique placement as I can see through their Instagram. This is unique and I enjoy it a lot. I’m quite impressed that many of the pictures were taken on an iPhone 4, I do not understand how such good quality can come out of a phone with that much age. I cannot even get a creative picture with my iPhone 11 Pro.

centered, at least for most of the pictures

The motivation in taking these pictures are
daily items that are in a unique position or have something special about them.
This is what he takes in pictures and they are quite distinctive I don’t really
ever see pictures taken from these angles.

Walker Evans is an old photographer that took pictures of many daily things for his time, the picture and portraits mostly have a unique point of view from where he takes the pictures. These pictures are mostly taken in the 1900s around the united states. He took pictures for his documentary movement in the ’30s and street photography in the ’40s and ’50s.

Evans are black and white and they mostly have a subject matter to them, he
often took pictures for movements happening at the time since he was born in
raised in America while there were the wars and the great depression.

pictures don’t really have a certain placement as many of his pictures are many
different things but there is always something sticking out in his pictures
like the road as seen in the picture
3. What were some of their ideas/motivation in making pictures?
His
motivations were used for street photography and his documentary this is why he
was a photographer.
